Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg met today with a group of Muslim students at the University of Michigan Dearborn in the United States.
The city of Dearborn is one of the largest and oldest Muslim communities in the United States of America, accounting for more than 20% of its population.
The Facebook founder added that most of the students he met were immigrants from war-torn areas like Palestine, Jordan and Iraq, where they told him a lot about the stories of violence they had suffered, including the first memories when their homes were blown up and panicked.
However, even in a community like Dearborn, students still feel the need to monitor themselves. They are always keen to show the best behavior when dealing with the outside community, to prove that Muslims are good “One of the students said:” Over time, I learned not to be shy about my hobby. I am an Arab Muslim and this is me. ”
“One of the students I met told me he knew a lot of white Americans who feel marginalized and discriminated,” Mark said.
