A 4.2-magnitude earthquake hits Swat valley in Pakistan

An earthquake measuring 4.2 on the Richter scale and the Swat valley hit the northwestern province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and surrounding areas.

The quake was centered at a depth of 180 km and centered on the border area between Afghanistan and Tajikistan, the US Geological Survey said.

There were no immediate reports of casualties or damage
