British police: the death toll of the attack surrounding the parliament to 5 people and 40 injured

The number of people killed in an attack on the British parliament on Wednesday rose to five after the death of a third citizen, police said.

Four of them were killed in the past, including the attacker and a police officer. Mark Rowley, Britain’s top anti-terrorism police official, told reporters the police believed the attacker was affected by terrorism.

He said police believed she knew the attacker’s identity but declined to give details.
