Gunmen kill 16 people in northern Cameroon

Gunmen suspected of belonging to the extremist Boko Haram group have killed at least 16 people and burned their homes in two villages in northern Cameroon near the border with Nigeria, the ABC News Network reported on Sunday.

The network quoted eyewitnesses as saying that the rebels entered one of the villages, burned houses, stole motorcycles and cars, and armed Boko Haram fighters crossed into Nigeria’s neighboring countries and carried out attacks.
