DEERFIELD, Ill. — A attack weapon ban which was assumed to have effect in Deerfield on Wednesday is now on grip.
A judge issued a temporary restraining order.
Two citizens, together with the support of their NRA and other gun rights groups, argued that the rule punished people who abide by the law.
The village board approved the ban from April, in the aftermath of the institution shooting massacre in Parkland, Florida.
Deerfield may appeal the judge’s judgment.
