Investing.com – Mexico stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

The best performers of the session on the were Grupo Bimbo, S.A.B. De C.V. (MX:), which rose 2.08% or 0.810 points to trade at 39.770 at the close. Meanwhile, Gentera SAB de CV (MX:) added 1.55% or 0.300 points to end at 19.690 and Grupo Financiero Santander Mexico SAB de CV Class B (MX:) was up 1.44% or 0.410 points to 28.850 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were America Movil SAB de CV (MX:), which fell 2.62% or 0.420 points to trade at 15.640 at the close. Grupo Aeroportuario Del Sureste (MX:) declined 2.42% or 9.48 points to end at 382.66 and Arca Continental , S.A.B. De C.V. (MX:) was down 2.30% or 2.75 points to 117.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Mexico Stock Exchange by 139 to 125 and 14 ended unchanged.
Gold Futures for December delivery was down 0.75% or 9.10 to $1199.10 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in October rose 0.55% or 0.38 to hit $68.97 a barrel, while the November Brent oil contract fell 0.09% or 0.07 to trade at $78.11 a barrel.
USD/MXN was up 0.17% to 18.8671, while EUR/MXN fell 0.37% to 21.9357.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.43% at 94.94.
