Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

The best performers of the session on the were Storebrand ASA (OL:), which rose 3.54% or 2.32 points to trade at 67.92 at the close. Meanwhile, Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:) added 1.48% or 3.60 points to end at 247.10 and P/f Bakkafrost (OL:) was up 0.81% or 3.80 points to 470.20 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Gjensidige Forsikring ASA (OL:), which fell 10.31% or 14.2 points to trade at 123.5 at the close. Orkla ASA (OL:) declined 10.16% or 7.42 points to end at 66.00 and Aker BP ASA (OL:) was down 5.57% or 17.60 points to 298.40.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 114 to 55 and 23 ended unchanged.
Shares in Gjensidige Forsikring ASA (OL:) fell to 52-week lows; losing 10.31% or 14.2 to 123.5. Shares in Orkla ASA (OL:) fell to 52-week lows; losing 10.16% or 7.42 to 66.00.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.75% or 0.53 to $70.86 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 1.20% or 0.89 to hit $75.34 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.32% or 4.00 to trade at $1242.60 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.22% to 9.4866, while USD/NOK rose 0.25% to 8.1311.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.02% at 94.59.
