PD: welfare worker threatens with sword

Dixie Floyd Dorantes, 3-6, confronts two felonies and lots of misdemeanor charges soon after waving a massive sword at a DCS worker on May 3, authorities state. Authorities in Nashville, Indiana state a DCS worker had shot Dorantes’ youngster since she had repeatedly neglected to select up the child at the Brown County YMCA.  

Court records show Dorantes  waved a “viking fashion S-word” at the DCS worker as soon as they demonstrated up to get items to your little one.  

Police state Dorantes was involved two automobile accidents because she strove to obtain the worker.  

Dorantes faces the following fees:

  • Intimidation – Felony
  • Attempted battery against a public safety officer – Felony
  • Intimidation – Misdemeanor
  • Resisting Police Force – Misdemeanor
  • Leaving the scene of an accident – Misdemeanor
