JERSEY CITY, N.J. — A retired school teacher has been killed in a Jersey City park Sunday morning, officials stated.
Anthony Bello expired immediately after what police referred to within an altercation in Pershing Field.
As president of the community league, Bellow was a fixture in the park.
Scholar Sheldon Gochiz remembered him. If he had been in school, Gochiz took Bello’s heritage class .
