Teresa May: China’s pressure is the best way to rein in North Korea

British Prime Minister Theresa May has called on China to put more pressure on North Korea to stop its missile tests, saying Beijing should play a key role in international efforts to prevent what it called a major provocation by Pyongyang.

North Korea on Tuesday fired a ballistic missile over Hokkaido Island in northern Japan before falling into the sea in a show of force.

We see the best way to do that is for China to exert pressure on North Korea, “Mae told reporters en route to Japan for meetings with Prime Minister Shinzo Abe.
