Elliot Schrage,

is stepping down following a few years at the social-media giant.

Mr. Schrage has ever been one of many crucial architects of Facebook’s plan for different controversies within the last couple of decades, for example most recently the organization ’s reply to information that the governmental business Cambridge Analytica improperly gained statistics on 87 million face-book consumers.

Mr. Schrage discussed departing the organization two decades before, a company spokeswoman said, however, stayed on after scrutiny of face-book intensified after 2016 presidential election. He will be available to search for his successor and will continue to notify top executives, such as Leader

In a face-book comment to this article, Ms. Sandberg named Mr. Schrage “one of one of the most creative and tactical people I have worked with. ”
