Trump addresses US state governors about Hurricane Erma

President Donald Trump spoke to state governors in Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina and Tennessee on Sunday, as Hurricane Erma moved from the Florida Keys to the Gulf Coast and states to the north, the White House said on Sunday.

The White House said Trump regularly spoke with Florida Gov. Rick Scott and US Senator Marco Rubio, adding that he spoke on Sunday with US Senator Ben Nelson.

The White House also said the president also issued a disaster declaration on Puerto Rico on Sunday and expanded federal funding available to the US Virgin Islands in the wake of the hurricane.
